Our Mission

EquStem enables veterinarians and horse owners to utilize the latest technology in regenerative therapy including regenerative stem cell and platelet therapy for tendon, ligament, and joint injuries by collecting stem cells from the bone marrow and umbilical cord blood and providing state-of-the-art platelet therapy to veterinarians. Our goal is to use emerging laboratory technologies to provide a platform for healing and recovery in the equine community.

History

EquStem was formed in early 2009 as the first commercial equine umbilical cord blood derived stem cell bank in the United States.  Based in Hackensack, NJ with state-of-the-art laboratories in Allendale, NJ, EquStem has formed quality partnerships with V-Care Biomedical and the New Jersey Cord Blood Bank/Eli Katz Umbilical Cord Blood Program at Community Blood Services in Allendale, NJ.  These partnerships enable EquStem to conduct innovative research and add invaluable skills and knowledge to better meet our customers’ needs. 

Using expertise, EquStem has positioned itself to serve both domestic and international customers for all of their equine stem cell banking needs.
